Chinese Learning Is Fun

International Chinese Lab (ICL) is a long-term partner of The Creative Montessori School (CMS) at East Cobb/Roswell, Kids R Kids (Norcross) and Norcross High School . The mission of ICL is to provide excellent services in Chinese language and culture teaching and exchange as well as community services.

At ICL, we believe that learning Chinese is fun; practice is the key. In addition to on-campus classes, we provide 24/7 on-line learning interactions. The instructional approach is focused on student-centered cooperative learning; individualized instruction is also emphasized to meet each student's unique needs.

1. Small Classes: ICL runs small classes with maximum teacher and student’s ratio 1 to 9 per class, to guarantee the quality of instruction.

2. Mastery of Learning: In our teaching, we emphasize the mastery of basic vocabulary through various fun-filled activities and the enhancement of learning through extensive reading materials adapted from Chinese and English modern literature.

3. 24/7 Online Interaction: ICL integrates advanced computing and Internet technology in instruction and learning. Our course materials, fun exercises and multimedia are accessible by parents, students and teachers. We have also established a Chinese proficiency assessment database which allows students to take free weekly Chinese contest.

4. Strong Team: ICL are led by a team of highly qualified professionals. We have a Ph. D. in Chinese linguistics from one of China's top-tier universities, who is also an experienced educator in teaching Chinese as a Second Language, supported by IT professionals specialized in online Chinese course development. In addition, we have an Ed. D. and professor in Early and Elementary Education to serve as curriculum advisor. All our teachers are well trained and committed educators who not only have years of teaching experiences in bi-lingual of English and Chinese but also share love and care for children.
